AAP

The Astronomical Association of Pernambuco - AAP, was founded on January 25, 1985, in the city of Carpina, State of Pernambuco, by Prof. Astronomer Audemário Prazeres, with the purpose of stimulating, cultivating and practicing the study of Astronomy and Sciences related to it, as well as promoting cultural and scientific exchange with similar national and foreign institutions, disseminating knowledge on the matter through lectures, conferences, courses, publications, visits to astronomical and planetary observatories, organize and guide study groups to research specific Astronomy subjects. Currently she is in the city of Bezerros, Agreste Central de Pernambuco.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF AAP

 

  • Scientific dissemination and support for science teaching; strengthening regional culture, promoting smart entertainment, strengthening Rural Tourism in the state, at its local, regional, state and national level.

  • Provide a new type of enterprise in the Rural Tourism segment, which is the practice of Astronomy in the countryside.

  • Taking advantage of the vision of the sky existing in rural properties that already operate in the development of Rural Tourism.

  • Promote growth in the various budget revenues present in the municipalities, providing new jobs.

  • Teach theoretical and practical classes in Astronomy, aiming at strengthening the training of teachers and students located in the interior cities of Pernambuco.

 

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

 

  • The project can be directed at the beginning to train teachers in the public schools of primary and secondary education, and higher education. As well, it can be extended to teachers from the private school system;

  • Maintain and develop an interactive science space in cities in the State of Pernambuco;

  • Promote permanent and itinerant exhibitions;

  • Promote scientific and cultural meetings;

  • Promote scientific and educational tourism in rural areas;

  • Train human resources in scientific dissemination and in education, valuing the cultural aspect;

  • Promote exchanges with other scientific dissemination centers in Brazil;

  • Provide knowledge for the development of Science Fairs in schools, enabling students to have a greater knowledge of Science.

ASPLAMA

The Planning and Environment Advisory of the Municipality of Bezerros - ASPLAMA is in its legal composition constituted by Municipal Decree No. 367 of 03/08/2004 which aims at exercising the activities of Urban-Rural Development Planning, in compliance with the Constitution Federal, the State Constitution, and the Municipal Organic Law, the City Statute and the desired life model of the Municipality. It is a strategic body aiming to elaborate sectorial, multi-sectoral plans, strategic projects, specific projects for the various sectors of activities in urban and rural areas and facilities.

In this way, it acts strongly in the dissemination and organization of events related to Science and Technology in the Municipality of Bezerros as provided by Decree / Law 955 of 10/06/2014 that formalizes the Municipal Week of Science and Technology as an official annual event. As well as, dissemination and organization of events related to the Environment, and better quality of life.

In fact, ASPLAMA is the agency of the Municipality of Bezerros responsible for the A3P Environmental Agenda, according to Decree nº 951 of 06-05-2014. As well, it is the Municipal body responsible for Environmental Licensing according to Municipal Law No. 1,168 of 11/27/2015.

As well, ASPLAMA is the municipal body responsible for the platform of the national Sustainable Cities program. Also responsible for the project to implant an Astronomical Observatory in Serra Negra / Bezerros for the purpose of developing Astrotourism.
